The Sony SNC-ER580 Rapid Dome IP camera has endless 360 degree rotation and an over-the-horizon tilt angle for surveillance over a wide area, ideal for scenarios where capturing detail is essential. With powerful 20x optical and 12x digital zoom functionality that helps capture crisp, clear detail from a distance.
The camera is able to operate around the clock, using Wide-D technology to ensure the best possible image in changing light conditions, while a built-in infrared-cut filter switches between full color and monochrome video, allowing continuous recording when used with infrared illumination (sold seperatly).
DEPA video analytics enhance footage in order to avoid false alarms by filtering out movement such as swaying branches in order to save on network resources and ensure crucial events are not missed.
A built-in SD card slot provides an alternative recording solution and a backup recording solution in the event of network downtime. Power over Ethernet compatibility allows the camera to receive power and network connectivity using a single cat5 cable, saving on wiring and installation.
